What are query fanouts and where can I see them?

Query fanouts are the background searches an AI model runs while it answers your prompt. They show you what the model actually looked for.

Fanouts are only available for ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Copilot. Prompts tracked only on other models have no fanout data.

Fanouts in the sidebar, under Results: which queries models generate, how often each one comes up, and whether you appear in them.
Prompt view: open a prompt to see its latest fanout queries and the most common terms.
Chat view: open a chat to see the fanouts behind that specific answer.

To pull the raw fanout queries, use the API or the MCP server.
