What are system tags and how can I use them?
System tags are labels that Peec automatically adds to every prompt. You don't need to create or manage them yourself.
There are two system tags: Branding and Intent Type. Both appear as columns in your Prompts table and help you organize and filter your prompts.
Branding
Tells you whether a prompt searches for a brand by name or is a generic query:
Branded: The prompt mentions a specific brand or competitor (e.g., "Should I buy Nike Pegasus or Adidas Adizero?" or "Are Lululemon Align leggings skin-friendly?").
Non-branded: a generic question with no explicit brand mention (e.g. "best CRM software").
Intent Type
Tells you the purpose behind the prompt:
Informational: The user wants to understand a topic (e.g. "What is whey protein?" or "How do standing desks improve posture?").
Commercial: The user is comparing products (e.g. "Best wireless earbuds" or "Nike Pegasus vs ASICS Gel Nimbus").
Transactional: The user is ready to buy or sign up (e.g. "Buy AirPods Pro" or "Lululemon Align leggings price").
How to use them
Filter your prompts table by Branding or Intent Type using the dedicated filters at the top of the page. Both are single-select, and you can combine them with your own tags and topics for more precise views.
For example, filter for non-branded + commercial prompts to find topics where you have a visibility opportunity but no direct brand pull, a quick way to spot gaps.
System tags are separate from the tags you create yourself, and each prompt gets exactly one per group. They're assigned in the background when a prompt is created, so you don't set them, and they can't be renamed or deleted, though you can reclassify an individual prompt.
If a prompt shows no value in a column, classification is still running and fills in automatically within a short time.
