How do I connect Google Analytics to see AI referral traffic?

AI Referrals shows the visits your website gets from AI assistants. It reads the data from your Google Analytics 4 (GA4) property.

To connect GA4:

1. Navigate to AI Referrals in the side panel.
2. Connect your Google account through Google sign-in.
3. Select the GA4 property you want to connect.

You can connect one GA4 property per project. To switch to a different property later, reconnect it from Settings.

Why some traffic is missing

• Traffic from Google AI Overviews and AI Mode is counted as Organic Search in GA4, so it doesn't show as AI referral traffic.
• Visits from mobile apps that don't pass a referrer show up as Direct.
• Conversions and Revenue only appear if you have key events or e-commerce tracking set up in GA4.
