What are credits and how can I use them in my projects?
Credits are designed to give agencies the flexibility to scale as they grow. Simply choose the prompts and AI models you want to track, and expand your tracking as your clients and projects grow while keeping your usage predictable.
How credits are calculated
The formula is 1 prompt × 1 model × 1 day = 1 credit, so one prompt on one model for a 30-day month is 30 credits.
For example:
Tracking "What's the best hair vitamin for thin hair?" daily across ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity for a month costs 1 × 3 × 30 = 90 credits. On the Scale and Comprehensive plans, you can switch a project to weekly tracking, which uses 1/3 of the credits.
Where can you see your credits?
Go to the Projects tab and look at Usage. It shows the total credits already allocated, the total available on your plan, and a colored breakdown per project (hover over a box for details). The project table below also lists Used and Allocated credits for each project. When you create a new project, Peec automatically calculates the credits it needs.
How to allocate credits to a project
You allocate credits by adjusting a project's prompts and models in the Projects table:
Prompts: Click the box in the Used / Allocated Prompts column, enter a value within your available limit and click away to save. Used credits rise as you add prompts.
Models: Click the Models box, select or deselect the models you need, and click Update. Peec automatically assigns or frees credits to match.
Freeing up and reallocating credits
If you don't use all of a project's allocated prompts, your used credits stay below the assigned amount, so you can lower prompt limits to free credits for other projects. Pausing a project releases its credits back to your pool (they get reallocated when you resume the project), and deleting a project frees them too.
