If your visibility score goes down over time, this can be a warning sign, but often it's completely normal, especially when you're just starting to track your visibility in AI search.
Common reasons for declining visibility:
Adding more prompts: Visibility often drops after adding many new prompts. Most users start with obvious prompts where they expect good performance, then add more challenging ones outside their main focus. This naturally brings down the average.
Expanding into new areas: Setting up prompts in other languages or countries where you face stronger competition will typically lower your overall visibility.
Look at your Visibility graph in your Dashboard and check the dotted vertical lines (see screenshot) that show when you added prompts. This helps you connect visibility changes to specific actions you took.
Add tags to your prompts so you can filter by topic, country, or other categories β this makes it much easier to identify what's causing changes in your visibility.
Daily and weekly fluctuations are completely normal and expected. They're not a reason to start worrying.
