Peec AI lets you monitor competitors using the same visibility metrics, so you can see who AI is promoting alongside (or instead of) you.

Two ways to add competitors

1. Use suggested competitors

We automatically flag brands that appear often in your prompt responses. Each suggestion shows how many times that brand has been mentioned:

  • Accept: Click the checkmark to add them as a competitor.

  • Reject: Click the X to remove them.

  • Edit: Click the pencil icon to edit the name or domain before adding.

2. Add competitors manually

Use the + Add Competitors button to open the form:

  • Name: Enter the competitor's brand name as it typically appears in AI responses.

  • Domain: Add their main website domain (used to detect source citations).

  • Click Add to save.

Getting the brand name right

Use the shortest unique brand name — not variations like:

  • ❌ HubSpot UK

  • ❌ HubSpot Marketing Hub

  • ✅ HubSpot

We track the exact name you enter, so keep it simple and consistent.

Why you should track competitors

Competitive tracking shows you:

  • Who appears alongside you in AI responses

  • How often they're mentioned compared to your brand

  • Which prompts they dominate (and where you have opportunities)

Start with 3-4 direct competitors. You can always add more later as you see patterns in who AI platforms mention.
